Johanna Kaiser, International Media Officer
Johanna Kaiser is working in the foodwatch international team since February 2020. She is in charge of the international communications and online media work, and for the development and content of the international website.
The internet is an important communication channel for foodwatch. Online, foodwatch can quickly reach many people, provide information for citizens, political actors and other stakeholders. Johanna has gained professional experience in the field of media and online communication at the House of Representatives of Berlin, the Canadian Embassy and the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation.
Johanna, born 1992, studied European and cultural sciences at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). She has worked and studied in different parts of the world; ranging from India and Mexico to Namibia. Abroad she learned how important a strong civil society is that claims transparency and exposes injustice. Her aim is to contribute to a better and fairer world. With foodwatch, she stands up for transparency, consumer protection and safe, healthy and affordable food for all.
