Annika Rother joined the foodwatch staff as an assistant in July 2018. In this role, she provides support to the management and teams of foodwatch International and foodwatch Germany and assists committees in the preparation and coordination of their work.
She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and Malmö University, where she studied cultural, political and social sciences. Her undergraduate studies were focused on human rights issues related to water and food policy. Prior to her university studies, she trained as an events manager and gained experience in the management of corporate, association and cultural events.
