Sabrina Tschiche, Assistant to the Executive Director

She enjoys creating spaces where people can raise their awareness, learn from one another, and collaborate across divides – for a good and just way of living for all.

One of her first key experiences was being part of an international, community-rooted partnership project in Senegal, where she supported international partners in sharing and spreading knowledge about integrated approaches to flooding and displacement.

Sabrina then focused on developing participatory educational programs for young people in Germany, encouraging them to engage with global issues such as ongoing colonial structures and environmental justice.

Witnessing the fight of Indigenous communities in Brazil against land grabbing by the soy industry during a voluntary project, she became aware of the central importance of a just food system. She is glad to be working with foodwatch today for this cause.
